September Monthly Menus 2011

September starts to remind me of cool fall days and the summer heat slowly disappears.  It reminds me of leaves turning color, hay bales and pumpkins.  I think fall is one of my favorite times of year.  Along with cooler weather comes wonderful comfort food such as chili and cornbread, chicken and dumplings and sausage been soup.  I love the fall.  It isn’t too hot and it isn’t too cold.  It reminds me of the “Three Bears” and porridge-just right!!  Really though it is a wonderful time of year where nature exhibits all it’s wonderful colors once more before it goes to sleep for the winter.

  1. Wow, I don’t think I can plan that many meals all at once. Or at least, if I did, I don’t think I’d be able to stick to all of them.

I am just stopping by from the MPM linky list, checking out what everyone else is planning for the week.

  2. My first visit to your blog from the Menu Plan Monday. How do you get your calendar into your post, with the clickable links? I love it. I will make sure to take more time to look through your recipes. I am trying to get inspired to plan my meals again.

    1. I write a table in Word and then I copy and paste it into my post. I hyperlink the recipes to the website I got them from. Looking at it all in a monthly type format makes it so much easier to navigate. Glad you like it!

  3. It is so great that you plan for the whole month! I try to do the same as often as possible, but sometimes I am not so great at keeping up with it. I would love if you would share this menu plan on my link-up! I like to show readers how other people eat and pre-plan their meals. Thank you for sharing!
