Grocery List:

Sunday:
1 bag of Hurst’s Cajun 15 Bean Soup
1 pound Italian sausage or Kielbasa
1 large onion
1-15 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 lemon
2 cloves garlic
butter
flour
baking powder
ground black pepper
baking soda
salt
8 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
2 eggs
8 oz. plain yogurt

Monday:
Taco Shells
1 pound of ground beef
1 package of taco seasoning
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Sour Cream
Salsa

Tuesday:
1 box manicotti noodles (14)
16 oz. ricotta cheese
12 oz. mozzarella cheese, (block)
2-3 eggs
Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup
parsley
oregano
large jar Prego spaghetti sauce
romaine lettuce
Ceasar dressing

Thursday:
2 frozen cheese pizzas

Friday:
Crappie (or any other fish of choice)
1 package of Louisana Fish fry
Frying oil
1 package of Velveeta Macaroni and Cheese
1 can of peas

Saturday:
cooking oil
8-6 inch corn tortillas
1 onion
4 garlic cloves
paprika
ground cumin
ground coriander
chili powder
cayenne
1 1/2 quarts chicken broth
1-28 oz. can crushed tomatoes in thick puree
bay leaves
salt
cilantro
1 3/4 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 avocado
4-8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
2-3 limes

Menu for December 6-12

Monday: Since we have snow in the forecast I thought it would be a good day to have some chili and cornbread.

Tuesday: Baked Spaghetti (eat 1/2 and freeze the other 1/2), Garlic Bread, Salad

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Friday: Saucy Fish Bake , Salad

Saturday: 15 Bean Soup (I cook mine in the crockpot, it just makes life easier)  and Pepper Cheese Bread (recipes coming soon)  NOTE:  This menu will be moved to Sunday due to a party.  🙂

Shopping List:

Monday:
1 package of Wick Fowler’s Chili
2 pounds of ground beef
1-8 oz. can of tomato sauce
1 large can of Ranch Style Beans
2 pkgs. cornbread mix
1 pkg. of shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz. sour cream

Tuesday:
16 oz. spaghetti
2-24 oz. jars of spaghetti sauce
2 pounds ground beef
4 tablespoons of butter-be sure you have this on hand
4 tablespoons of flour-be sure you have this on hand
4 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese-have extra to sprinkle on top
2 teaspoon of salt-be sure you have this on hand
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder-be sure you have this on hand
12 oz. evaporated milk
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 ready made loaf of garlic bread
1 bag of salad greens
1 bottle of Caesar dressing

Thursday:
1 large can Campbell’s Tomato Soup
Bread
1 package of thick sliced Velvetta Cheese
Butter

Friday:
1 pound of fish fillets
1 package of Hollandaise sauce
Butter
1 small can of French Fried Onions
1 can of asparagus spears
Paprika


Menu for November 29-December 5

Monday: Turkey Enchiladas , Beans and Corn

Tuesday: Turkey Divan and Salad

Wednesday: I didn’t cook the salmon from last week so I will hopefully cook it today, along with rice pilaf and salad.

Thursday: Baked eggs and tortillas in creamy tomato sauce and some pinto beans.

Friday: Kielbasa sausage with peppers and polenta (recipe will be posted soon) and salad

Saturday: Lutefisk dinner!!!  Going out to eat this one!  Will post pictures.

Sunday: Roast, gravy, potatoes, carrots and apple pie

Menu for November 21-27

Sunday, November 21:  Braised Short Ribs with mashed potatoes, green beans and apple pie for dessert.

Monday, November 22:    Since no one was hungry today and I was dead tired, I skipped cooking anything today.

Tuesday, November 23:  Salmon (even though this recipe calls for Sea Bass, I substituted it for salmon because Sea Bass here is way too expensive)  atop Rice Pilaf and a tossed salad

Wednesday, November 24:  Pasta with Pancetta and Leeks, salad

Thursday, November 25  (Thanksgiving!!):  Turkey, Dressing, Green Bean Casserole, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Sweet Potato Rum Casserole, Dinner Rolls, Cranberry Sauce, Fruit Salad, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Iced Tea and Cranberry Juice–WHEW!!!

Friday, November 26:  Crockpot Turkey Soup, Bread Machine Bread  (Time to give our bodies some down time with all that food from Thursday and eat a nice light soup!)

Saturday, November 27:  Out to eat with friends

Sunday, November 28:  Turkey Pot Pie
